Thank you for all your messages…it is really nice to get support! My Lucygirl is coming home today, she was at the cottage with my husband for her surgery yesterday. Just can’t wait to see her… However, she did not want to eat since the surgery…I am a little bit concern!!! When we will know which stage of cancer (1,2,3,etc) we will decide if we will do the amputation or try chemio (if possible, $ and distance)…The closest vet who is doing chemio is 3 hours away driving…Anyway…I will keep you unformed! Thanks again!
Great news! Remember tgat she is pretty doped up right now on hospital meds. Some dogs are a bit reluctant to eat at first. You might want to try to entice her with scrambled eggs, boiled chicken breast or something else special.
Oh I’m so glad that you’re feeling a bit better about things. I’m just now catching up on your and Lucy’s story. Your family has been through SO much, I’m really sorry. Whatever you decide, we’ll be here for you to lean on OK? And I agree, your English is great.
By the way, Novak and his mom are French Canadian too! Have you met them yet? See:
